Palamós Partners with an Academy from India

3rd Division. The Palamós club will announce today an agreement with Perfect Football Academy that will lead to the creation of a reserve team in Fourth Catalan Division.

Palamós will present today, in the press room of the Palamós–Costa Brava stadium, a collaboration agreement with the international football academy Perfect Football Academy. The club from Palamós is seeking partners to strengthen youth development and bring in knowledge and resources to aim for a return next season to the Third Division—a category they lost last Sunday in the second-to-last matchday (the final match is next Sunday).

The agreement between both entities includes the creation of a Palamós reserve team sponsored by Perfect Football Academy, which will compete in the 2018/19 season in the lowest category of Catalan football, the Fourth Catalan Division.

At the media presentation will be Shubham Garg, the director of Perfect Football in India; Òscar Riera, the academy’s director in Spain; and the president of Palamós, Joan Pau Pérez.

Perfect Football Academy and Palamós had already established initial contact during the 2017/18 season, as the academy sponsored the signing of Indian footballer Luv Kapoor for the club’s first team.
