Indonesian Players Join the Perfect Football Project and Palamós Youth Football
Players from the Vamos Indonesia academy who will train with teams from the Foundation.
The youth football development project shared by Palamós Club de Futbol, the Palamós Sports Foundation, and Perfect Football has a new partner. The Vamos Indonesia academy has brought nine players aged 16 to 18 to Palamós so they can train and compete with the Foundation’s youth teams.
In 2018, a first agreement was established with Perfect Football to bring players from other countries—especially from India—to Palamós. The agreement has been renewed this year with both the Foundation and Palamós CF, who receive financial benefits from the partnership, and now it incorporates the participation of Vamos Indonesia. Until May of next year, nine Indonesian players born in 2001, 2002, and 2003 will train in Palamós, learn Spanish and play with the Foundation’s U19 A and B teams.
Toni Reguant, General Director of Perfect Football, explains the purpose of Vamos Indonesia.
Vamos Indonesia already operates another training base in Spain, and is now launching its new branch in Palamós. Toni Reguant of Perfect Football explains what it means to integrate this new project.
Meanwhile, Perfect Football will continue bringing players from India and also from the United States—either for full-season training or shorter development stays. Last season, the Indian players competed with the Foundation’s Fourth Catalan team, which will have a second squad this year.
